Temporary Merchant’s Certificate

Request a Temporary Merchant’s Registration Certificate through SURI.

Submit a copy to San Juan Beauty Show management by October 23, 2026, and display the original visibly in your booth.

Collect the applicable 11.5% sales tax and file it according to law.

Insurance Requirements

Coverage dates: November 5–9, 2026. Submit the certificate by October 23, 2026 with all three endorsements:

Truss, Structures & Rigging

Provide SJBS and the Puerto Rico Convention Center with the details of any supplier using provisional structures or truss.
Follow the attached Estructuras Provisionales requirements and insurance form. Security may deny entry or stop assembly if requirements are not met.
Structures 20 feet or taller or 20 feet or wider require engineer certification.
PSAV is the exclusive rigging supplier for Ballroom AB.
PSAV and LA Rigging are exclusive for loads over 100 lbs. in Halls ABC.
Insurance endorsements must be received before supplier entry can be authorized.

Parking & Fire Safety

Parking: USA Parking operates the facility. Self-parking is approximately $15.00 per day and valet is approximately $25.00. Rates may change.

Fire Department requirements:

Keep emergency exits free of curtains, equipment, and other obstructions.
Audiovisual equipment must remain visible.
Cover exposed cables with PC 628 gaffer tape or yellow cable jackets, and remove all tape and residue after the event.
The technical table must have a fire extinguisher provided by the audiovisual company or client.
